Our wooden pencils, made in Germany, stand for sustainability and environmentally conscious action!
Accordingly, we prefer local, European woods. Our European cherry wood, for example, mostly comes from Germany. We source walnut wood from our close neighbors, such as Austria or Hungary. The wood is air-dried for approximately 2-3 years at the lumber yard and then kiln-dried to a moisture content of 8%.
